Inventory Analyst - Medical Devices (Johor)

Job Summary:

The Distribution Network Analyst is responsible for developing and executing daily inventory distribution plans to ensure consistent product availability across global distribution centers (DCs). This role focuses on aligning distribution operations with business goals, monitoring supply flow, and identifying process improvement opportunities. The analyst works closely with production, logistics, and planning teams to optimize inventory movement and maintain target service levels through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage daily distribution strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels across global DCs.
  • Ensure all DCs consistently meet Days on Hand (DOH) and stocking targets for Finished Goods.
  • Plan and coordinate the transfer of Finished Goods from production to distribution centers, ensuring timely delivery and balanced stock levels.
  • Collaborate with DC Managers, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to streamline operations and improve communication.
  • Identify and resolve network bottlenecks, constraints, and potential inventory shortfalls.
  • Track and analyze distribution lead times and variability; partner with Logistics to maintain accurate master data in planning systems.
  • Produce and interpret performance reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) focused on key KPIs and inventory trends.
  • Leverage data insights to propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution network.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in distribution, supply chain analysis, or inventory planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis, report generation, and trend interpretation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
