Job summary

A leading global energy provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Advanced Reforming Process Engineer. In this role, you will be part of the process engineering team, providing technical leadership and support for manufacturing facilities. You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, at least 8 years in the oil and gas sector, and specialization in reforming technology. This position requires excellent analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in oil and gas, petrochemical or refining industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of work specialization in reforming technology.
  • Technical site or unit experience including monitoring, troubleshooting, asset support, projects and turnarounds.
  • Process and equipment design experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and assist in goal setting.
  • Support process modeling sustainment and deployment.
  • Mentor and train less experienced engineers.
  • Provide reforming process engineering support.
  • Support capital projects with reforming process engineering.
  • Lead troubleshooting and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with vendors for equipment delivery.
  • Support installation and commissioning of facilities.
