Job summary

A global manufacturer in Johor is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to enhance financial reporting and digital workflows within the organization. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting along with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting practices, international regulations, and be detail-oriented with excellent leadership skills. This role also requires proficiency in Oracle and MS Office, with proficiency in English being essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, Company Act, and Tax regulations.
• Experience in multinational companies, CPA firms, or listed companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily accounting records and oversee financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare financial statements and analyze anomalies for management review.
• Plan and implement digital transformation in accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Monitor business operations and ensure alignment with financial data and company policies.
• Manage and complete tax filings within statutory deadlines.
