Global Account Manager (Distributor Relations and Market Expansion)

Tupel 3D is a British med‑tech company that designs and manufactures precision 3‑D scanning products used by professionals across the UK, Europe, the US and many other countries. All products are developed in-house, from optics and electronics to software and industrial design.

As part of our global expansion, we are strengthening our commercial operations in Malaysia to enhance distributor performance and expand into new markets. We are looking for a polished and capable commercial professional who thrives in an international environment and can contribute from day one.

The Role

This role focuses on managing global distributor relationships, driving market growth and supporting commercial strategy. You will be the primary link between Tupel and our distributor network, ensuring each partner is supported, aligned with our goals and performing well in their market.

You will be involved in analysing sales data, identifying performance issues or opportunities and contributing to decisions on pricing, positioning and market expansion. This role requires someone who is analytical, structured and confident dealing with international customers.

You will also work closely with the marketing and leadership teams to plan and execute initiatives that expand our global reach.

This role is relationship‑driven and strategic, suitable for candidates with prior experience in handling clients, accounts or distributors.

Key Responsibilities

Distributor Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with distributors across multiple countries
  • Ensure partners receive timely updates, product information and marketing materials
  • Monitor distributor health and performance, escalating issues when necessary
  • Support distributors in their promotional plans and sales activities
  • Establish structured meeting routines with distributors, including recurring reviews, KPIs and follow‑up mechanisms

Market Expansion and Business Development

  • Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities to expand our market presence
  • Work with leadership and marketing to plan and execute market‑entry strategies
  • Participate in the screening and selection of new distributors
  • Track and assess market growth potential region by region

Commercial and Sales Analysis

  • Analyse sales performance, market trends and distributor performance data
  • Identify patterns, gaps or risks and present insights to leadership
  • Support pricing reviews, forecasting and commercial planning

Marketing and Internal Support

  • Collaborate with marketing to prepare distributor toolkits and campaigns
  • Help ensure consistent brand representation across global partners
  • Support sales efforts when needed, including managing enquiries and assisting with commercial follow‑up.
  • Support general business needs as part of a small and flexible team
What We Are Looking For

Required

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in account management, distributor management or commercial roles
  • Strong English communication, both written and spoken
  • Confident and professional in interacting with international clients
  • Strong analytical ability and comfortable working with sales and performance data
  • Organised and disciplined with follow‑ups and documentation
  • Able to work independently and contribute to commercial strategy
  • Someone who brings experience in client or distributor handling, not someone needing basic training
  • Willingness to travel if required

Good to Have

  • Degree in business, marketing, economics or a related field
  • Experience in healthcare, tech, med‑tech or B2B industries
  • Experience with international markets or cross‑border business
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or structured sales workflows
  • Ability to prepare commercial reports or presentations
