Job summary

A global leader in coatings is seeking an Accounting Professional to manage various accounting functions including preparing VAT and statutory returns, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and maintaining account reconciliations. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in accounting, particularly in Shared Services or multinational contexts. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is essential, and the role demands both independence and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Shared Services, MNC or public listed company preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare applicable VAT, Tax and other statutory returns including annual accounts

Manage the analysis of accounts according to business requirements

Handle Month end closing journals

Able to work independently on improving efficiencies and streamlining finance process flow.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements.

Account reconciliations following corporate guidelines

Prepare books in US and local GAAP

Other ad-hoc requests as vital

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree desired, or associate's degree plus relevant work experience or overall equivalent work experience

Good in Microsoft Office and Accounting System experience

Minimum 2 years' accounting experiences

Working experience with either Shared Services company, MNC or public listed company

Able to speak and read in Chinese and English

Inventive and a phenomenal teammate with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambitious environment
