About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on General Manager to lead the Senai plant. This role is ideal for a strong Sales Manager / Operations leader ready to step up into a full General Manager position. You will oversee daily plant operations, manage cross‑functional teams, and work closely with Sales to support business growth and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Plant Management

• Oversee daily factory operations including production, quality, and workflow
• Ensure smooth coordination between plant, warehouse, and logistics teams
• Monitor production schedules, delivery timelines, and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures

Sales & Business Support

• Work closely with the Sales team to support new projects and customer orders
• Provide operational input for pricing, capacity planning, and feasibility
• Improve delivery efficiency, quality consistency, and customer satisfaction
• Support business growth by strengthening coordination between Sales and Operations

People & Leadership

• Lead and manage department heads (Operations, HR, Finance, QC, Sales Support)
• Build a disciplined, accountable, and performance‑driven culture
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and cost control

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in operations, sales leadership, or general management (manufacturing/industrial preferred)
• Strong leadership background managing multi‑functional teams
• Good commercial sense with ability to support sales and business decisions
• Hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable being on the ground
• Willing to be based in Senai, Johor, with occasional travel to Klang Valley / Singapore
• Experience in metal, steel, or manufacturing environment is a strong advantage
