Job description

Our group of companies is seeking a results-oriented and operationally focused General Manager to lead regional execution and business scale-up across Southeast Asia for our next-generation oncology diagnostics platform, including a tumor-naïve, liquid-biopsy MRD solution.

The General Manager will oversee go-to-market operations, regulatory coordination, commercial rollout, and cross-functional alignment for the Southeast Asia region. The role requires strong execution capabilities, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of healthcare systems in ASEAN.

This is a high-impact leadership position at the intersection of product commercialization, regulatory execution, and capital-markets-driven growth within a group that includes a Nasdaq-listed company.

Key Responsibilities
Market Execution & Commercial Operations
  • Lead go-to-market planning and launches for the oncology diagnostics / MRD platform in key ASEAN markets.
  • Build and manage commercial activities, including partner onboarding, sales execution, and channel development.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to senior leadership.
Regulatory & Cross-Functional Execution
  • Coordinate regulatory filings for diagnostics and medical devices across Malaysia, Singapore, and selected ASEAN markets, ensuring compliance with local requirements and tracking approval timelines.
  • Work with technical, clinical, and manufacturing teams to align on product readiness, launches, and implementation milestones (access, onboarding, logistics).
Partnerships & Strategic Engagement
  • Develop and manage relationships with hospitals, labs and distribution partners.
  • Represent the company and group at investor meetings, conferences, and strategic partner discussions.
  • Support corporate development, strategic initiatives, and future listing / up-listing activities at group level.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Health Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in diagnostics, biotech, healthcare services, or closely related commercial/business roles.
  • Proven track record in commercial leadership, market expansion.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulatory environments in Malaysia, Singapore, and broader Southeast Asia.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to or involvement in IPO-readiness, investor communications, or listed-company reporting in a scaling or high-growth environment.
  • Experience working within or alongside regional or global healthcare groups and cross-border teams.
