GI Senior Actuarial Analyst / Actuarial Analyst

The Company

Key Responsibilities

You will work on projects focused on general insurance. You will be assisting in a wide variety of projects which includes but are not limited to statutory reserving, regulatory solvency, reinsurance, capital modelling, IFRS17 assignments as well as pricing.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Take on the role of project manager/team lead, overseeing and driving progress towards project deliverables, adhering to timelines, and maintaining high quality of work.
• Provide support in the preparation and presentation of materials for clients.
• Working with the team by performing key statistical analysis and produce high quality analytical work on insurance-related projects.
• Show professionalism and strong communication skills when interacting with colleagues and the clients.

Requirements

Experienced candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or other related quantitative fields.

• Practical experience in IFRS17 and Reserving would be advantageous.
• Strong academic performance with good progress in actuarial examinations from recognised International Actuarial Bodies.
• Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
• Able to work under a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, would be advantageous.
• Well organised and detail oriented.
