Duties & Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, develop, and mentor a team of SCM to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance appraisal of staff within the SCM team.
  • Set clear objectives and ensure the team's alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for SCM process that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create long-term strategies for SCM process and optimize the end-to-end process.
  • Day to Day operation: Oversee the process of sourcing & procurement, Order Management & Logistics and lead the tower leads to meet the operational needs and targets.
  • Focus on customer service and satisfaction, including regularly publishing a performance report/dashboard and engaging key stakeholders in monthly performance dialogues.
  • Focus on talent development, create an effective and high-performing team together with each tower leads.
  • Identify ongoing efficiency opportunities in end-to-end processes that extend outside of GBS scope and working with key stakeholders to address.
  • Ensure Controls & Compliance are adhered to throughout the roadmap implementation and day-to-day operation.
  • Continually reinforce the value proposition of GBS ASEAN SCM through innovation and execution.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure alignment and meet customer demands;
  • Collaborate with internal customers to address supply chain-related issues and resolve customer complaints.
