Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome and greet customers. Ensuring all customers are sited and in comfort.
  • Inform customers of specials and menu changes.
  • Make recommendations.
  • Reply any question pertaining to all food, beverage and of any other product of the Company.
  • Take food and beverage orders from customers.
  • Up selling of in-house specials.
  • Enter in orders and relays orders to the kitchen, ensuring that the orders are understood.
  • Setting the proper cutleries.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen bar to customers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and observe customers dining experience.
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with the food and service.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are kept at all times.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Prepare final bill, present check to customer, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
  • Be ready and willing to assist colleagues with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Thank customers for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the café as directed by the immediate superior.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations.

Job Requirements

  • Pentaksiran Tingkatan Tiga (PT3) or equivalent.
  • Preferable experience in hospitality industry.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Possess high standards of integrity, credibility, and reliability.
  • Willing to work on shift including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended period and move quickly.
