Junior Product Design Specialist

An industrial and product design specialist is a key player in the development of innovative and functional hardware tech products. This role involves a blend of creativity and technical skill to design products that meet consumer needs and preferences while also considering manufacturing processes and materials. A successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to think outside the box to solve complex design challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Involved in a wide spectrum of projects that solve (sometimes really challenging) issues from all types of industries.

• Work closely with designers and engineers from different disciplines including Industrial/Graphic/Interaction Designers & Mechanical/Electronics/Software Engineers to create GREAT products, services, and solutions that bring real value and impact to our clients.

• Developing initial design concepts using sketches and digital modeling tools.

• Refining product designs based on feedback and testing, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.

• Selecting appropriate materials and processes to meet design specifications and budget requirements.

• Staying abreast of the latest trends in design and technology to innovate and improve product offerings.

• Bring products (both physical & digital) and services to life with the user experience in mind.

• Be an evangelist for awesome design.

The Following Experience Would Be a Plus:

• 1 year of relevant product design experience, Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or an equivalent degree.

• Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.

• Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, Keyshot or similar.

• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas through a mix of physical and digital mediums and technologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
