Programme Overview

The Financial Sector Enrichment Programme (FSTEP) is a 3 + 9-month intensive graduate training programme, in collaboration with Asian Banking School (ABS), designed to equip talent with the right skills and knowledge for their transition into the financial services industry. UOB Malaysia is committed to recruiting and developing a team of trainees who will be coached to excel within the bank.

This position is open for immediate hiring, and we are seeking candidates who can join our team promptly to contribute to our ongoing projects. Please note that only shortlisted candidates are contacted for the next stage of applications.

Available Opportunity In Human Resources (Shared Service)
  • Assist in the end-to-end staff movement process including confirmation, transfer, appointment, cessation, and other related activities.
  • Assist in operations tasks including preparing letters, updating data movement in HR system, communicating with Employee and Functional Manager and scan & upload documents in HR system.
  • Support the staff movement team in other related activities or ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve staff movement process.
  • Collaborate with staff movement team in streaming the current process
  • Adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards.
What We Look For In a UOB FSTEP Trainee
  • Malaysian nationality.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with less than three (3) years of working experience.
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills, adaptable, dedicated, committed, and independent.
  • Committed to complete the programme. (Trainees are subjected to a 1-year bond period)
