Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Process customs inward permit including preparation of import documentation.
• Tracking of import shipments (Air & Sea), to ensure no delay on arrangement.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers/forwarders and customers to ensure timeliness of shipping arrangements/schedules, and all necessary documents required.
• Prepare & compile shipping documents.
• Ensure smooth import / export documentation and shipment arrangements.
• Coordinate with supplier and customers on shipping schedule, shipping related matters.
• Provide timely assistance to customers relating to shipment status as well as shipment issues such as custom clearance.
• Attend to overseas agents and client request.
• Coordinate with supplier and customers on shipping schedule, shipping related matters.
• To follow SOP and in compliance and file documents.
• Create PO for repetitive non planning products.
• Liaise with relevant departments upon cargo irregularity reported and file cargo damage claims.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Freight Forwarding operations or in a similar role with Import/Export experience.
• Previous experience and focus on critical logistics and cold chain, food logistics will be a plus point.
• Possess at least professional certificate, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/graduate Diploma in any field.
• Proficient with MS office applications.
• Minimum 7 years of working experience related in shipping industry.
• Short notice period will be an advantage.
