You will spearhead the preparation and consolidation of APAC financial cycles and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards. About the job FP&A Analyst cum Accountant (Sole Contributor)

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the preparation and consolidation of APAC financial cycles, including the Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts, and guiding measurables to facilitate the achievement of business objective.
  • Working closely with the Senior Finance Director and Country Finance Managers to refine plans and forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational targets.
  • Oversee the execution of operational plans against the APAC Annual Plan, with a keen focus on P&L Achievements and optimizing Working Capital/Cash Flows.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on business progress vs. financial metrics, keeping the regional management abreast of key initiatives across APAC.
  • Offer proactive planning and analysis/reporting to improve forecasting accuracy and empower strategic decision-making.
  • Take charge of Malaysia\'s accounting activities, guaranteeing strict adherence to accounting policies and practices for streamlined asset and operational management.
  • Lead month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline month-end processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with US SOX/GAAP standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders across diverse countries and organizational levels.
