A leading logistics company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Executive in Logistics to help optimize transportation resources and ensure timely delivery. You will oversee operations, analyze routes, and manage logistics providers while providing insights to management. The ideal candidate has a degree in Logistics or related fields and at least 2 years of experience in transportation management. Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
Assist the manager in leading the planning, allocation, and optimization of transportation resources (fleet and manpower) to support business growth and peak season demands.
Oversee the daily linehaul and last-mile operations to ensure timely parcel delivery and service reliability.
Analyze delivery routes, parcel flow, and capacity utilization to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
Identify and resolve transportation bottlenecks, delays, and service failures; propose practical solutions to minimize overdue parcels.
Manage both in-house and third-party logistics providers; ensure performance meets service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
Monitor key metrics including on-time delivery rate, vehicle utilization, and route performance.
Support the launch of new routes, hubs, and regional expansion plans through effective capacity planning.
Work closely with data, tech, customer service, and frontline operations teams to build a responsive and scalable transport network.
Develop emergency response strategies for disruptions such as traffic issues, weather delays, or surges in parcel volume.
Provide regular reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management for decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics management; experience in express delivery/courier industry is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data tools or transport management systems preferred.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
