The Financial Reporting Specialist

The Financial Reporting Specialist will play a key role in supporting accounting and finance functions within the trading industry. This position requires a dedicated individual to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Description

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision‑making processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end financial closing activities.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for the department.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance indicators.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes.
• Support audits by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation within the organisation.

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance and accounting activities, competent and experienced in full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP) and taxation (e.g., income tax, deferred tax, WHT, GST/VAT, etc.) preferably in statutory and legal requirements for other APAC countries
• Knowledgeable in Indian Accounting Standards
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
