The Opportunity

This position works out of our Imazium Damansara Uptown location in the Abbott Nutrition International (Malaysia) division.

As the FP&A Manager, you will provide financial leadership and drive continuous improvement in forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and strategic planning. You will lead financial analyses, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices across affiliate finance systems and processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage financial planning processes for Annual Plan and Rolling Latest Best Estimate (rLBE).
  • Prepare analysis and commentary for planning packages.
  • Develop financial models, forecasting tools, and scenario planning.
  • Perform monthly closing and reporting activities, including variance analysis.
  • Enhance and standardize dashboards for key performance indicators.
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing to track financial commitments and expenditures.
  • Identify business and financial risks/opportunities and propose mitigation actions.
  • Support ad hoc requests from Area, Division, and Affiliate business functions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance (MBA in Finance/Accounting is an advantage).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in financial leadership or business analysis within a multinational organization.
  • FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry exposure preferred.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; excellent presentation abilities.
  • Business-driven mindset and ability to influence stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Knowledge of international finance policies and procedures.
  • Strong team player with a proactive approach.
