Responsibilities
  • Partnership Development: Establish and manage strong partnerships with banks and licensed NBFIs to enhance our B2B trade payment solutions for SMEs
  • Market Insight & Strategy: Understand the local banking and fintech ecosystem, identify opportunities, onboard the right partners and support co-development of new products
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Risk and Compliance to ensure smooth product delivery and regulatory alignment
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance payment processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Regulatory Engagement: Stay updated on regulatory changes, maintain open communication with regulators and support compliance requirements
  • Performance Monitoring: Track partnership performance, review KPIs and hold regular partner reviews to ensure growth and success
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in partnership management, business development or FI relationship management within banks, NBFIs, fintech or payments
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations, especially trade payments and cross-border transactions
  • Commercial Acumen: Skilled in negotiation, structuring partnership deals and managing agreements
  • Cross-Border Exposure: Experience working across multiple SEA markets and cultures
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills to drive solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized & Proactive: Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, as the role involves frequent engagement with regional and China-based partners
