Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day operations, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards. Responsibilities include financial reporting, audit support, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with AutoCount accounting system are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in diverse accounting roles, preferably in engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard, tax compliance, and local regulations.
• Proven experience in audit, taxation, costing, and banking operations.

Responsibilities

• Involve in day-to-day accounting operations including data entry for Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Administer staff claims and reimbursements accurately.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports with high accuracy.
