Proficiency in Mandarin is also required.

Qualifications

  • Member of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in IPO processes and with public-listed companies is advantageous.

Finance Manager/ Assistant Finance Manager

We are seeking experienced Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support the Company's strategic growth.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly closing and year-end financial reporting.
  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including GL/AP/AR, Payroll and tax compliance.
  • Prepare accurate financial statement, management reports, and cash flow forecasts in compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee reporting across multiple entities.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Strengthen internal control systems and financial policies to ensure compliance and reduce operational risks.
  • Act as the main liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high standards and performance.
  • Drive the IPO readiness process: coordinate due diligence, support prospectus preparation, and liaise with investment banks, lawyers and regulators.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and group-level tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must member of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants).
  • Knowledge of MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA, CIMA, ICEW); MIA membership.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS, SST, tax, audit and construction/project accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Must be able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese (spoken).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Experience in IPO processes and working with public-listed companies is an advantage.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff and provide training on accounting processes.
