Job Summary

To assist the Department Head for overseeing the financial health of the company. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and managing compliance with regulatory requirements. The role plays a critical part in strategic planning and decision-making by providing sound financial insights and ensuring prudent financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance vs. budget and forecast.
• Performs monthly account reconciliation and balance review submission.
• Identify trends, variances, and potential financial risks/opportunities.
• Assist in tax matters, including checking and reconciliation for all taxes.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
• Assist in cash flow management to ensure liquidity and optimal fund utilization.
• Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and other regulators.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting personnels.
• Ensure achievement of JDKPI by the finance team.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or Professional qualification.
• Around 5 years of similar experience and role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft office.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with digital finance tools, automation, or data analytics.
• Exposure to regional or multinational operations is a plus.
• Must be willing to station in overseas.
