- Plan, lead, and manage Accounting, Treasury, Taxation, Budgeting, Internal Control, Risk Management, and other relevant corporate functions.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, statutory requirements, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee Finance staff and processes to ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare, review, and present quarterly consolidated financial results and year‑end audited statements to Management, Audit Committee, and the Board.
3. Business Analysis & Advisory
- Provide timely financial analysis, insights, and segmental reporting to support Management and Board decision‑making.
- Support business departments (Operations, Merchandising, Marketing) with financial projections, feasibility analyses, and financial inputs for new projects, concept stores, or lease renewals.
4. Stakeholder & External Relations
- Liaise with business partners, suppliers, bankers, auditors, tax agents, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.
5. Process Improvement & Cost Management
- Plan and implement process improvement initiatives, cost efficiency projects, and technology enhancements to strengthen financial operations.
- Lead restructuring or resizing initiatives within the Finance Department to enhance efficiency and capability.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor’s Degree, Post‑Graduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent field.
- At least 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Finance team management role.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA) are advantageous.
