Job summary

A financial services company located in Chemor, Perak is seeking a qualified finance professional to oversee the full set of accounts, including managing AP, AR, and GL. The ideal candidate will hold an ACCA qualification and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 5-8 years of experience. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, managing budgets, handling tax matters, and supervising a finance team. This role offers the opportunity for process optimization and system improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in finance.
  • Hands-on experience in managing accounts and financial reporting.
  • Experience in audit or tax environment is an added advantage.

  • Oversee full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Handle tax matters including SST and corporate tax.
  • Coordinate external audit and liaise with tax agents and bankers.
  • Supervise finance team members and improve finance processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and analysis
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • Handle tax matters including SST, withholding tax, CP204, and corporate tax
  • Coordinate external audit, tax audit, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers
  • Monitor credit control, collections, and payment approvals
  • Implement and improve finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls
  • Lead, coach, and supervise finance team members
  • Support system improvement and finance process optimization
Job Requirements
  • ACCA qualification is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience
  • Hands-on experience in full set of accounts
  • Experience in audit, tax, or commercial environment is an added advantage
  • Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines
  • Willing to be based at Chemor, Perak
