Job description

A critical role ensuring the financial sustainability and compliance in Malaysia administering financial management, risk management, tax planning, reporting and collaboration with key stakeholders both locally and at the regional level partnering.

  • Preparation of annual budget report
  • Timely submission of monthly management accounts and forecast.
  • Evaluate and perform project financial analysis
  • Cash flow management to ensure that company has sufficient fund for operation.
  • Review all accounting, financial, tax and regulatory reports/statements to ensure compliance with local standards and regulations.
  • Review payroll calculation
  • Fixed asset management
  • Tax submission (WHT, SST)
  • Liaise with Tax Agents, External Auditors and Corporate Secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with bank, third party and other financial institution.
  • Coordination and liaison with other departments for finance related functions.
  • Support ad hoc finance projects as and when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting.
  • Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Finance at least five years at senior level at recognized MNC.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong Track record in financial modelling, cash flow management and Finance software systems like SAP.
  • Knowledge of local tax, accounting standards and advanced Microsoft office familiarity.
