A leading financial services company in Bayan Lepas seeks a candidate to assist in preparing financial statements and support accounting assignments. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or those pursuing professional qualifications in accounting. Responsibilities also include liaising with clients, company secretarial tasks, and coordinating with seniors. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn are essential. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required, Mandarin is a plus.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the team in liaising with clients on financial statement updates and basic business planning matters.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of accounting assignments under the guidance of seniors and managers.
  • Assist in dealing with company secretarial matters such as preparation of resolutions and company incorporation documentation.
  • Opportunity to be involved in various special engagements with Public Listed Companies, Multinational Companies, and Foreign Companies.
  • Assist in job planning and support seniors in coordinating tasks with supporting staff.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or be a fresh graduate with strong interest in accounting/finance.
  • Candidates currently pursuing or intending to pursue professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
  • No prior working experience is required; however, internship or relevant exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL Accounting or other accounting software will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Willing to learn, responsible, and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
