Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full set accounts, including reconciliation, adjustments, posting of journal entries and maintenance of audit schedules etc
  • Process and reconcile payments to vendors in a timely manner
  • Prepare quarterly GST submission
  • Preparing bank reconciliation report
  • Support expense management, including but not limited to cost forecast and monthly cashflow forecast
  • Assist in audit queries and preparation of financial statements
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in accounting systems
  • Identify opportunities for improving financial workflows and reporting accuracy
  • Assist in any finance related tasks or automation initiatives

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years finance or accounting experience in the financial industry
  • Good understanding of financial controls, accounting standards and tax
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Suite) and Microsoft Excel. Coding knowledge will be highly advantageous
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Experience with Shared Services would be advantageous
