Job summary

A high-tech company in Malaysia seeks an Accountant to manage full sets of accounts, ensuring compliance with MFRS and managing tax submissions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting/Finance and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Malaysia. Proficiency in AutoCount and strong skills in MS Excel are required, along with integrity and detail-oriented mindset. The position is based in Kulai, Johor, with a salary of up to RM 5,300.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-spectrum accounting experience in Malaysia.
• Good command of English & Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Experience in MNC or China-owned subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP, FA, cash management).
• Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closing.
• Manage tax submissions: Corporate Tax, SST, WHT, PCB.

Company Background

Job Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP, FA, cash management) and ensure compliance with MFRS.
• Perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and prepare financial & management reports.
• Manage tax submissions: Corporate Tax, SST, WHT, PCB, and liaise with LHDN/IRB.
• Monitor daily cash flow, prepare forecasts, and handle all banking matters.
• Support cost control activities and maintain strong internal control procedures.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and ensure compliance with SSM and Companies Act.
• Use accounting systems (AutoCount/SQL/UBS/ERP) and assist in improving finance processes.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of full-spectrum accounting experience in Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, MFRS, and Companies Act.
• Proficient in AutoCount / SQL Accounting / UBS and strong in MS Excel.
• Good command of English & Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.
• High integrity, detail-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure.
• ACCA / CIMA / CPA Australia / MICPA (completed or pursuing).
• Experience in MNC or China-owned subsidiaries.
• Experience setting up finance processes for new entities.

Salary Range: Up toRM 5,300
