A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Executive for its finance department. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing full set accounts, handling month-end closings, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Ideal applicants should hold a diploma in Accountancy and have at least 2 years of experience in a related field. Strong communication, bookkeeping skills, and proficiency in MS Office are essential. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for entry-level consideration.
Responsible for preparing multi entities of full set accounts, including general account, account payable and account receivables
Prepare bank reconciliation statement.
Preparation of sales invoice, progress billings and payment vouchers
Responsible for accurate and timely month-end closing of accounts.
Assist on day-to-day administrative operation.
Ensure all documents are filed accordingly.
Reconciliation of our project billings as well as costs and expenses
Compile report of respective projects’ P&Ls every month
Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors/management from time to time.
Possess at least Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
At least 2 year working experience in the related field is required.
Knowledge in bookkeeping and MS Office (Words and Excel)
Proficient with AutoCount accounting software will be an added advantage.
A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Independent, initiative, and willing to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to prioritize workloads.
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervise
Reliable, dependable, and independent.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
