The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or relevant certification, experience with SAP B1, and strong Excel skills. This role involves preparing financial reports, conducting account reconciliations, and participating in budget planning. Candidates should be meticulous, proactive, and possess strong communication skills, while fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or partially qualified professional certification.
• Experience with SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Solid understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
• Audit background is a big plus.
• Meticulous, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Mandarin literacy is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and timely reporting and submission of financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audit and tax processes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Review and ensure accuracy of payments made by junior staff.
• Participate in budget planning and tracking of budget utilization.
• Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and company policies.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to pricing reviews and asset management.
