Job description

We want a finance guru with the ability to manage full sets of accounts from AP, AR to GL and fixed asset functions, get it? You'll also need to prepare accurate financial reports, statements and analysis for key decision makers. If you love your excel sheets, have a keen eye for detail and obsessed with numbers, then we want you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to manage full set of accounts
  • Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL) and fixed asset functions.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Financial Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely profit or loss (P/L) reports.
  • Generate comprehensive financial statements and analysis for management review.
Cash Management
  • Oversee petty cash and credit cards disbursements and reconciliations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls over cash transactions.
Media Buy Reporting
  • Ensure all payments made reconciles with ad campaign spend.
  • Maintain proper documentation of media buy receipts for WHT filing.
Month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts and ensure all financial activities are appropriately recorded.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Possess a bachelor's in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional accounting qualification or equivalent with minimum 2 years working experience.

Able to work independently with tight schedule and minimum supervision.

Mature with good interpersonal skills and analytical minded.

An eagle-eye with attention to detail.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.

Experience in advertising/marketing agency background will be an added advantage.

Fully on-site job with flexibility of remote work upon completion of 12 months of employment.
