A leading hotel in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to support daily financial operations, including payroll and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable/payable and ensuring compliance with financial policies. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential for this role.
The Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the hotel, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger functions. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely processing of financial transactions to support the hotel’s overall performance and profitability.
Assist with accounts payable/receivable, staff claims, and supplier payments.
Maintain financial records, vouchers, and accounting documents accurately.
Support in cash flow monitoring, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in payroll preparation and monthly financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with hotel finance policies and provide support to the finance team.
Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in finance or accounting (hospitality industry experience is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
