Job description

We are looking for Finance Executive to join our growing team at IHH Healthcare Berhad in our KL Eco City office in Kuala Lumpur. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for supporting IHH Healthcare Group Finance.

What you’ll be doing
  • Daily financial data entry: Perform accurate and timely entry of all financial transactions into the accounting system.
  • Full set of accounts management: Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and ensure all records are up to date.
  • Prepare financial reports: Generate monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial documents to support decision‑making.
  • Bank reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, cash‑pooling and ensure all financial activities are properly documented.
  • Other reconciliations: inter‑companies, vendors, etc., to perform on monthly basis to ensure no variance and to seek clarification with respective parties, so that all transactions are valid and justifiable for adjustment if any.
  • Month‑end closing: Assist in the closing of accounts at the end of each month and during year‑end.
  • e‑invoice submission: Submit via MyInvois portal and ensure compliance on a timely basis.
  • Stamp duty: Review submitted documents to the Finance Department and obtain confirmation on the applicability of stamp duty.
  • Filing management: Maintain/update the completeness of soft‑copy documentation in SharePoint on a timely basis.
  • Quarterly BNM reporting: Assist in submission data via External Sector Statistics Portal.
  • Ad‑hoc support: Provide accounting assistance to management for special projects and ad‑hoc financial tasks.
Key Accountabilities
  • Perform full spectrum accounting for a portfolio of investment holding companies, including payment processing, inter‑companies billings and balance sheet schedules.
  • Complete reporting packs, tax checklist, treasury reports, etc.
  • Liaise with the auditors during the year‑end audit.
  • Respond to other ad‑hoc information requests/projects.
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in accounting and/or external audit.
  • Familiar with accounting concepts, and able to keep a full set of accounts for investment holding entities.
  • Conversant with SAP and Microsoft Office 365.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Ability to communicate in spoken and written form in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to build good rapport and work effectively with subsidiaries finance team, within group finance team, and across departments.
  • Finance and Accounting fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this role.
