Job description

Our customer is a Management Corporation of Island Plaza, a shopping mall located at Tanjung Tokong.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle full set of accounts or assist in full set accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor daily cash flow, bank balances, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, payments, staff claims, and journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
  • Support internal and external audit exercises.
  • Perform ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and basic taxation is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
