Our customer is a Management Corporation of Island Plaza, a shopping mall located at Tanjung Tokong.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts or assist in full set accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules.
- Monitor daily cash flow, bank balances, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, staff claims, and journal entries accurately and timely.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities when required.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Support internal and external audit exercises.
- Perform ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and basic taxation is an added advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
