Industry: Provider of an integrated palm kernel expeller (PKE) warehousing and high capacity warehouse-to-dock conveyor system on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

We are seeking an experienced and responsible senior accounts professional to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate is meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly financial statements and management reports
  • Manage general ledger, AP/AR functions including month-end and year-end closing
  • Handle staff payroll
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies
  • Supervise and support accounting and administrative staff
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in full set of accounts
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian Accounting Standards and tax regulations
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
