Job description
Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements) and present actionable insights.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, forecast future financial performance, and monitor variances.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize the inflow and outflow of cash to ensure liquidity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and government regulations, managing tax filings.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and develop accounting and finance staff.
  • Strategic Support: Advise senior management on financial implications of business decisions, risk management, and opportunities for cost reduction.
Core Duties
  • Oversee daily accounting operations (A/R, A/P, payroll).
  • Coordinate audits (internal/external).
  • Develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and issues.
