The Finance Analyst supports the Finance Business Partner and wider finance team in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis, reporting, and planning. This role plays a key part in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, working closely with commercial, operational, and accounting teams to provide financial insights that support decision‑making and drive business performance.

Description
  • Prepare financial analysis and management reports, delivering insights to support business decision‑making and leadership reviews.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis, trend identification, and performance commentary.
  • Partner with commercial, operational, and accounting teams to understand business drivers and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives and business projects.
  • Support process improvement initiatives, including standardisation of reports, dashboards, and automation/digitalisation efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and support audit and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the development of financial tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to enhance data visibility and performance tracking.
  • Identify financial risks, anomalies, and improvement opportunities, escalating issues where appropriate.
Profile
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting automation).
  • Ability to develop and maintain dashboards and structured reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
