A leading aviation maintenance company in Malaysia is seeking qualified individuals to perform maintenance tasks following strict OEM procedures and regulatory standards. Applicants must hold a diploma or degree in engineering, preferably in aerospace or mechanical fields, and possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the aviation sector. OEM experience and Safran Helicopter Engine Level 1 training is preferred. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and a commitment to quality technical assistance.
The main responsibility is to carry out maintenance activity as per updated procedures by OEM and as instructed by the superior, which includes the following:
Support all technical matters within the organization, including workshop activities as assigned. For example, tools management, POL, OEM documentation, regulatory requirements, etc.
Ensure that the activities performed are in compliance with the regulations and company procedures.
Require attending training and any courses that is necessary for compliance to the maintenance operations.
Ensure all maintenance operations are correctly performed and certified in accordance with official documents and regulations of an airworthiness authority. Need to ensure all the maintenance records are kept safely for a statutory period.
Maintains suitable and appropriate working environment align with safety requirements, and that all field and workshop equipment are of serviceable and working condition.
Analyses and records all mandatory requirements obtained from Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Service Letters that may affect the GTA’s scope of approved activities.
Liaise adequately with the Customer Support and Quality departments.
As Certifying staff for certain engine type, he/she must adhere the requirements by the authority and OEM when perform the technical assistance and release the engine/modules.
To deliver a quality workmanship of technical assistance in accordance with the requirements within the stipulated TAT given.
Require to be flexible and able to travel abroad when assigned by superior.
Inspection & Compliance: Verify that all tools received from external sources—whether customers, suppliers, or calibration service providers—comply with purchase order requirements, are properly calibrated, include relevant certification or reports, and are stored or segregated in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Diploma/Degree in Engineering. (Aerospace, Engines or Mechanical recommended).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the aviation industry.
OEM experience and Safran Helicopter Engine Level 1 training will be prioritized.
