Responsibilities and duties

Set up and test automated vision inspection systems on-site.

Troubleshoot and offer technical assistance to customers.

Integrate and configure machine vision hardware (lighting, cameras, etc.).

Evaluate machine vision feasibility through sample testing.

Ensure alignment of customer product specifications within the project team.

Create user manuals for operating machines effectively.

Conduct customer training on vision system operation.

Manage project buyoff process and prepare verification reports.

Uphold safe working environment following protocols and policies.

Handle changing priorities and support organizational tasks.

Generate reports, project plans, and required documentation.

Engage with customers for satisfaction and operational meetings.

Ensure consistent and reliable system performance.

Continuously improve systems and provide upgrade feedback.

Promote personal efficiency through a continuous improvement program.

Mentor and train junior engineers in field application roles.

Undertake assigned duties from superiors as needed.

Job Requirements

Posses Bachelor Degree in EE/Mechanical/Mechatronics or any equivalent

Possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience in machine installation

Comprehension of image processing methodology will be an added advantage

Able to write, read and speak mandarin to cater the oversea client would be added advantage

Willing to travel outstation or oversea for machine assembly and set up

Able to work for long hours or weekends – depending on customers’ requirement
