A leading agricultural services company in Selangor is seeking a Farm Technical Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to improve animal health and farm performance. Responsibilities include analyzing performance data, supporting farms during crises, and conducting training sessions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Animal Science/Livestock/Veterinary Medicine and has at least 5 years of poultry farm experience, with strong knowledge in poultry health and diagnosis. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders and willingness to travel for field visits.
This role is aimed to provide expert technical supports to farms under QL Group with the objective of improving animal health, productivity, and overall farm performance.
Analyse farm performance data (e.g., growth rates, mortality, feed conversion, etc) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide farm technical supports to manage crisis during disease outbreak or other farm performance issues and support farms to prevent spreading of disease/husbandry problems.
Formulate solutions to address farm performance issues.
Discuss with local farm teams on farm issues, get buy-in on corrective action and follow up on progress of action plans to improve farm performance.
Conduct regular training sessions for farm staff on best practices, SOPs, and new technologies.
Build technical capabilities within the farm teams to ensure consistent and sustainable performance.
Work closely with farm managements, veterinarians, nutritionists, and other stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.
Act as a liaison between farms and COE or commercial teams to ensure knowledge transfer and innovation adoption.
Lead or support technical projects such as trials, system upgrades, or new farm setups.
Maintain accurate records of farm visits, interventions, and performance metrics.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Must have Degree in Animal Science/Livestock/Veterinary Medicine.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in poultry farm experience.
Possess strong knowledge in poultry health skill in poultry diseases diagnosis.
Able to communicate with stakeholders from different levels.
Able to travel for field visit based on farm needs.
