Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily farm activities including planting, harvesting, irrigation, pest control, and livestock management (if applicable).
• Support the development and implementation of farm strategies and production plans.
• Monitor crop and/or livestock health and report any issues to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of farm operations, inputs, outputs, and labor.
• Manage farm staff schedules, training, and performance with a focus on efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist in procurement of supplies, machinery maintenance, and inventory management.
• Liaise with suppliers, buyers, agronomists, and government agencies as required.
• Prepare regular reports on farm performance, budget use, and production outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in farm management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of crop and/or livestock production systems.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to use farm management software and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in varying outdoor conditions.
