We are seeking a talented Failure Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic team at INTRETECH (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Senai, Johor. As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving complex issues within our electrical and electronic products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability. What you’ll be doing

• Conducting in-depth failure analysis on electrical and electronic components and systems
• Analyze product failures to identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate closely with Quality, R&D, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support customer returns, field failures, and warranty investigations, ensuring timely and accurate analysis
• Prepare and maintain clear, detailed technical reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations
• Provide technical input to improve product design, process reliability, and manufacturing quality

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, or product reliability engineering
• Proficient in using failure analysis tools and techniques, such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and thermal analysis
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems
• Proactive and detail‑oriented approach to work, with a commitment to continuous improvement
