Job summary

A leading facility management company in Johor, Kulai is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of all facility systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience and good knowledge of electrical systems. You will assist engineers with operational duties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working experience in facility maintenance and operation.
• Exposure to electrical systems and ability to read electrical circuit diagrams.
• Good understanding of facility system operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventive maintenance and update maintenance checklist.
• Assist Engineer in supervising and monitoring facility operations.

Job description

Responsibilities

To ensure preventive maintenance & update maintenance checklist for all facilities systems are carried out according to schedule as routine job.

To assist Engineer in supervising & monitoring at all facility system operations & uptime.

To assist Engineer in any improvement projects.

To assist Engineer in supervising renovation, upgrading & equipment hook up installation work and ensure on-time delivery as per contract requirements.

To troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the technician shall be required to work outside normal hours.

To ensure all tools, equipment, consumable items and spare parts are properly stored, cleaned and handled based on First-in-First-out basis.

To ensure facility systems and working environment are compliant to EHS requirement.

Requirements

Minimum 1 years working experience in facility maintenance & operation.

Exposed in electrical system & able to read electrical circuit diagram and also equipment fault troubleshooting.

Good understanding and exposure of facility system operations and maintenance.

Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and in a safely manner.
