Job summary

A manufacturing company in Ipoh seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include supporting the Facility Engineer to ensure optimal efficiency by managing electrical and HVAC systems, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance. Candidates must possess the A0 Chargeman and PW4 (Wireman) certification, a diploma or certificate in an engineering-related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• A0 Chargeman and PW4 (Wireman) certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment or facility maintenance.
• Experience in boiler and air compressor maintenance is an added advantage.

Job description

Support the Facility Engineer in maintaining the facility at optimal efficiency. Carry out CMMS-based maintenance tasks, including both corrective and preventive maintenance, to ensure smooth operation of factory facilities.

Responsibilities

• Electrical systems: Lighting, single-phase and three-phase power supply.
• HVAC systems: Air conditioning and air/water cooling systems
• General maintenance: Hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps, and gear motors
