A manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Engineer to conduct inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Responsibilities include overseeing repairs of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and developing accurate facility documentation. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a related environment, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability of critical systems.
Oversee and perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices related to energy conservation.
Maintain accurate records of facility assets, maintenance activities, and equipment manuals.
Develop and update facility documentation, including drawings and schematics.
Possess very good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization.
Well organized, detailed-oriented and able to work independently under pressure.
Familiar with CAD software.
Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft applications.
Mature and pleasant personality with highly energetic and enthusiastic.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in facilities engineering, mechanical / electrical engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years and above working experience in manufacturing related environment.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of environmental sustainability and energy conservation practices is a plus.
