Job summary

A leading entertainment venue in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Technician for on-site troubleshooting of karaoke systems and maintenance of electrical components. The role involves managing inventory, assisting in installations, and repairing various systems including CCTV and IT setups. Candidates should possess a relevant diploma and technical skills in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a focus on integrity and the ability to work under pressure. Shifts and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Sijil Kemahiran, or relevant MLVK Certificates.
• Entry Level specialized in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Hardware servicing.
• Able to achieve deadlines and work under pressure.
• High level of integrity, initiative, and result-oriented.
• Willing to work in shifts, weekends, including Public Holidays.

Job description

Perform karaoke systems on-site troubleshooting (respond promptly to requests from the outlet)

Order outlet supplies, source and liaison of the suppliers, manage delivery and inventory

Assist installation of all items, machines, and equipment into the outlet during daily maintenance, renovations of the existing outlet, CCTV repair & maintenance

Relevant hands‑on skills in Karaoke VOD, CCTV & POS system, including troubleshooting skills, are highly desired

Repair lighting systems, power outlets, fixtures, switches, and small electrical components.

Fix minor leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes, or issues with water supply and drainage.

Identify the root cause of equipment breakdowns and recommend long‑term solutions.

Monitor cleaning or servicing air‑conditioning system with the assistance of contractor or other general maintenance works

Report unusual readings, equipment abnormalities, or utility inefficiencies.

Basic IT knowledge & skills - Maintain and create the items button at the POS system, handling server, manage asset & management of IT‑related software and hardwares and maintain/create new user accounts for new users

Connecting and setting up keyboards, mice, printers, monitors

Connecting to Wi‑Fi and wired networks

Knowing what IP addresses, routers, switches are (at a simple level)

Basic troubleshooting - No internet, IP conflict, DNS issues

Assist in liaison with the vendor for the purchase of IT equipments procurement

Other job responsibilities as and when assign by the Management

JOB REQUIREMENT
