Job description

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and elevators.

Troubleshoot and repair any issues with lighting, plumbing, heating, cooling, or electrical systems.

Respond to work orders for minor repairs and address urgent issues that affect the building’s functionality.

Monthly water and electricity meter reading records.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and completed work.

Monitor and maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the building, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Assist with the installation and maintenance of equipment or systems as required.

Ensure that all maintenance tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any faulty tools to the manager.

Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized services or larger repairs such as elevator, chiller, cooling tower and etc.

Ensure that all fire safety equipment is in working order and conduct regular safety drills.

Assist in weak current system; to monitoring, troubleshooting, installation of the building CCTV surveillance system, door access control system, fire alarm system, video intercom system and others related field.

Maintain and update the maintenance log, including scheduling preventive maintenance tasks.

Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.

Support the cleaning crew in maintaining building cleanliness and sanitation.

Perform ad-hoc duties whenever assigned by the Superior.

5.5 working days per week, with off days based on the duty roster.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical chargeman, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use power tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
