Job summary

A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced technician for facilities system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a Cert / Diploma in Engineering or Science and a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include conducting shift checks, troubleshooting issues, and executing maintenance tasks according to ISO standards. Good English and Malay communication skills are essential for the role, along with knowledge of MS Office applications. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in facilities system operation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge in electrical, HVAC, LEV, PCW, CDA, clean room systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct shift checking and highlight abnormalities detected.
  • Attend troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Report shift consumable consumption and complete reports.
  • Maintain document control following ISO requirements.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct shift checking and highlight abnormality detected (e.g., electrical systems, contractor works) in compliance with regulatory standards.
  2. Attend the shift troubleshooting electrical and mechanical fault circuit/system to shorten operation shutdown duration.
  3. Execute the scheduled preventive maintenance, service repair, troubleshooting and installation of facilities equipment and systems.
  4. Attend daily handover and/or ad hoc meetings for discussing topics relevant to facility responsibilities.
  5. Report shift consumable consumption and complete the daily shift report before end of working shift.
  6. Responsible for safety awareness and compliance practice delivered during in-house and/or vendor maintenance activities.
  7. Maintain document control and be responsible for documentation prepared and organized following requirements in accordance with ISO standards.
  8. Any other ad hoc duties by immediate supervisor as required.
Job Requirements
  • Qualification: Cert / Diploma in Engineering, Science or equivalent and with minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field are required for this position.
  • Experience: Knowledge in facilities system operation and maintenance including Electrical, HVAC, LEV, PCW, CDA, Clean room (C1K – C100K), RODI, Raw & Waste Water, Fire Fighting and Building Maintenance
  • Skill:
  • Candidates who possess a certificate A0- A4 from Suruhanjaya Tenaga will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Language: Good verbal and communication skill in English and Malay.
