Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Malacca is seeking an experienced individual to manage mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and conducting training for technicians. This role demands familiarity with electrical regulations and a BO Charge man Certificate. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of relevant experience and possess good communication skills in English and Malay.

Qualifications

Job description
Job Target

Responsible for the management of mechanical and electrical equipment / facility that support the core business of BMMY using best practices to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.

Job Description
  • In charge of 1Kv and below for substation operation control, monitoring, new install and relevant maintaince activities included genset.
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical fault circuit/system and provide recommendation to minimize re-occurrence or long term solution.
  • Oversee the schedule preventive maintenance, service repair, trouble shooting and installation of facilities equipment and system.
  • Performing periodic checking and submit report with recommendation to ensure all laws and company regulations related to electrical system and installation are complied.
  • Make, update and review the related department's flowchart, documentation and forms for compliance and improvements purpose.
  • Plan, prepare grantt schedule and follow up actual activities progress for project assigned.
  • Involve for department quotation discussion and monthly budgetting correspondences activities.
  • Prepare technical requirement to contractors and analysis the comparison quotations for repair, new install, and maintenance projects.
  • Review effectiveness of the routine inspections and supervise on daily maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support enviromental sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs.
  • Coordinate periodic training plan, monitor and guide for technicians and junior staff.
  • Develop action plan to ensure compliance with authority and company safety standards and requirement.
  • Support internal and external audits and provide technical documentation for ISO and other certifications.
  • Any other ad hoc duties by immediate supervisor as required.
Job Requirement

Qualification : Must possess BO Charge man Certificate approved by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia

Experience : 3 years and more to relevant work experience

Skill : 1) Being familiar with electrical regulation and installation. 2)Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO27001 and ISO45001 is an added advantage. 3) Knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Language : Good verbal and inter communication skill in English and Malay.
