Job Description

• The incumbent is fully responsible and accountable for the efficient execution of all assigned tasks in the Quality Assurance Department and other work areas as delegated by the QA Engineer / QA Assistant Engineer.
• He/She is also authorized to handle all Quality, administrative issues, generate all requested Quality reports and other relevant documents, coordination of all given instructions and use any equipment assigned to him/her in the most cautious manner.
• May be assigned tasks in other work areas by the QA Engineer / QA Assistant Engineer as and when required.
• To perform any additional assignments as instructed by the QA Engineer / QA Assistant Engineer and to maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills in the performance of all assigned responsibilities.
• Report to the QA Engineer/ QA Assistant Engineer in a timely manner of any important aspects and problems related to assigned responsibilities.
• Carry out inspection based on customer's drawing
• In-process product measurement
• Reliability tests (e.g. temperature, humidity chamber, abrasion, and chemical tests)
• To ensure that all inspectors adhere to the inspection standards and proper methods
• Liaise with production and engineering department
• Follow up with production on corrective & preventative actions
• To carry out other tasks assigned by superior when required.

Requirements

• minimum 1year experience in the related field
• must able to understand and ready all 2D drawing requirement
• carry out routine task for First article full dimension measurement as per 2D drawing requirement and able to program measuring method using CMM
• must understand and read Geometric Dimensioning and & Tolerancing symbols in the 2D drawing and requirement
• competent to identify which equipment to be use for the particular dimension mention in the 2D drawing and following strict methodology to achieve result
• must complete task within time frame with accuracy
• completed to operate and use all measuring equipment, particularly CMM and QV
