Job summary

A modern neighbourhood grocer is seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the F&B industry, a customer-centric approach, and experience leading teams. Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, managing food and beverage quality, and working collaboratively with various teams to help grow the brand. Fluent English and Malay are required, and a passion for hospitality is essential.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in the F&B industry, including 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of both FOH and BOH operations.
  • Fluent in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.

F&B Operations Manager

As a hands‑on leader who lives and breathes F&B, you will shape day‑to‑day operations, build memorable experiences, and grow Qra as a brand from the first hello to the last sip of coffee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run The Show: Oversee daily F&B operations across Qra outlets, ensuring service standards, food quality, and customer experience are consistently on point.
  • Lead Your People: Recruit, train, and develop a strong F&B team while building a positive, supportive culture where people enjoy coming to work.
  • Create Great Customer Experiences: Ensure every customer feels welcomed, heard, and taken care of while turning problems into great moments.
  • Play With Food & Drinks: Oversee food quality and beverage operations, including coffee and bar, and bring fresh ideas for menus, drinks, and new concepts.
  • Work With Cool People: Collaborate closely with HQ, Marketing, and other internal teams while helping shape new outlets as Qra grows.
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience within the F&B industry, including 5 years in a managerial role or an equivalent position.
  • Strong understanding of both FOH and BOH operations.
  • Passionate about food, coffee, drinks, and hospitality.
  • Enjoy leading people and making things better every day.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally.
  • Comfortable working 5.5 days a week on shift‑based schedules.
  • Fluent in English and Malay (additional languages are a bonus).
